Job Description

JOB PURPOSE





Your primary focus will be on collecting, analysing, and interpreting HR data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving HC processes and initiatives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex HC data into meaningful reports and presentations.


RESPONSIBILITIES




Data Management




Defining new data collection and analysis processes Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion Provide quality assurance of imported data working with quality assurance if necessary Commissioning and decommissioning of datasets Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems Training end users on new reports and dashboards Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing Work with different HC functions to provide administrative improvements and bespoke tools that drive efficiencies and improve reporting Work closely with talent and learning partners to create new tools and dashboards, and develop processes for training programme evaluation and reporting

Data Collection and Analysis




Collects and compiles HC metrics and data from a variety of sources including: the human capital information system (HRIS), payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, labour statistics, competitors' practices, and other sources Analyse data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations Identifies and recommends reasonable short and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices Helping develop reports and analysis Managing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata Generating reports from single or multiple systems

Relationship and Knowledge Management




Effectively manage relationships and stakeholders Expectation management is a requirement for analytics success Keep the business involved in your analytics project and keep them up to date on progress and potential setbacks Consistently engage with internal customers, making sure what is required is delivered, and making suggested changes where applicable Monitor team SLAs and KPIs to ensure we are providing the best service possible Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice

EDUCATION




Matric Bachelor's degree in HR, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is advantageous PowerBI Certification

EXPERIENCE




Minimum 3 year's related experience * Knowledge of HRIS, PowerBI, Project Management, BCEA, Business Process Models
