Job Title:Human Resources/ Industrial Relations ManagerSalary/rate:Market RelatedPosition overview:To provide support to senior management and the project, to ensure a harmonious working environment for all employees on the site. Ensure that processes and procedures in the Industrial Relations are adhered to on a company-wide level. Minimizing risks to the business from a dispute resolution standpoint by ensuring that correct and consistent processes are maintained at all times. Training and development of internal management in IR processes. Representation and attendance at internal IR forums / proceedings, and external dispute resolution forumsQualifications:xc2xb7 Matricxc2xb7 Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in an IR / ER management role.xc2xb7 Degree / diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Labour Relationsxc2xb7 Valid driverxe2x80x99s license.xc2xb7 Clear ITC and criminal record.Skills and Experience:xc2xb7 A minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 prior experience in a HR/IR rolexc2xb7 An understanding of and insight into the BCEA, LRA, EE, SDL and POPI actsxc2xb7 Knowledge of regulations and compliance as it relates to Human resources and South African lawxc2xb7 Previous experience working in a mega construction site is advantageousResponsibilities:xc2xb7 Continually analyse and develop operating procedures as it relates to IR, ER and HR across the sitexc2xb7 Manage grievances and grievance procedures timeously and ensure management are updatedxc2xb7 Work to improve communication, cooperation and planning in the Human Resource departmentxc2xb7 Ensure strike and contingency plans are continually updated in the event of any industrial actionxc2xb7 Assist employees and management with queries and requestsxc2xb7 Advise management on all matters that involve conflict between employeesxc2xb7 Perform general administration duties for the HR office which may include filingxc2xb7 Develop HR, IR and ER labour protocols, operating procedures and handbooksxc2xb7 Maintain and follow HR policies, regulations and procedures related to the function, rights and responsibilities of all staffxc2xb7 Work with departmental managers with respect to disciplinary action required, including preparation of documents, investigation of any offence, scheduling hearings, and attendance at hearingsxc2xb7 Where necessary support departmental managers on any CCMA or Labour court referralsxc2xb7 Work with employee representative, union officials and management in managing conflict between parties and employeesxc2xb7 Negotiate collective bargaining agreements with employee representative or union and managementxc2xb7 Assist in the organization and induction of new staff on the code of conduct, HR and IR protocols and operating procedures during orientationxc2xb7 Develop and submit timeously all HR related ED reportsxc2xb7 Prepare monthly payroll input for all Sinohydroxe2x80x99 employeesxc2xb7 Assist in management of the ED office to ensure that the works effectivelyPlease send your CV to chantelle.placements@gmail.com
