Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in terms of organisational and compliance requirements.
Ensure the development and implementation of compliant HR-related policies and procedures.
Take responsibility for the operational management of the HR department including people management, programmes and financial management as well as the development and monitoring of an annual departmental budget, the organisational salary budget and a learning & development budget.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma with either specialisation in HR Management/Industrial Psychology or Social Science.
Five years HR experience with at least two at management level
Knowledge and experience in the management of payroll that is not managed by another department or outsourced.
Experience in working on Sage 300 Payroll and HR Information System or equivalent system.
Superior knowledge of legislation, regulations, codes and best practice related to human resources, payroll management and occupational health and safety.
Intermediate level MS Office skills
A valid Code B drivers license

Ability to keep abreast of HR-related legislation, regulations, codes and best practice to enable the effective monitoring of compliance.

Ability to give guidance to line management in terms of people management challenges and proposing interventions where appropriate.
