Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to onboarding. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies. Work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs. Screen, shortlist, and interview candidates. Utilize various recruitment channels (job portals, social media, career fairs, networking). Coordinate pre-employment checks, reference checks, and offer negotiations. Maintain and update the talent pipeline.
Onboarding & InductionFacilitate smooth onboarding for new hires. Conduct orientation sessions and ensure completion of documentation.
Employee Relations & SupportAddress employee concerns and provide HR policy guidance. Assist with conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Support initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.

HR Administration & ComplianceMaintain and update employee records and recruitment reports. Ensure recruitment processes comply with labor laws and university policies. Assist in HR audits and reporting.
Training & DevelopmentIdentify skill gaps and assist in organizing training programs. Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
Performance Management & Workforce PlanningSupport performance evaluation processes and probation tracking. Assist in workforce planning and forecasting staffing needs.

Key Requirements



Education & ExperienceNational Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience within the university in recruitment or talent acquisition. Experience with Oracle System. Experience in CV filtering and question banks. Strong coordination experience.
Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques. Excellent interviewing and assessment skills. Ability to manage multiple vacancies and work under pressure. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
Personal AttributesGoal-oriented and proactive in recruitment efforts. Strong ethics and integrity in handling confidential information. Effective communicator and team player.
