If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you!The Western Cape Blood Service is on the lookout for a dedicated HVACR Technician to join our team.A permanent vacancy exists for an HVACR Technician Paterson Grade B5 in our Maintenance Department.Purpose of the job:Under the guidance of the Supervisor the HVACR Mechanic performs the following duties but not limited to:
- The installation, maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance of Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning.
- Maintain refrigeration equipment according to governmental regulations and company work instructions.
- Grade 12.
- N3 in Refrigeration.
- Safe handling of the gasses certificate would be an added advantage.
- Basic Refrigeration courses.
- 2 years proven job-related experience in a similar position.
- Code B driver's licence.
- Must have Good Communication skills.
- Must be able to handle administration work.
- A willingness to work as part of a team.
- Will be required to be on standby for after-hours call-out duties.
