Job Summary Our Client, a Global Giant in the Financial Services Sector is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a dynamic Hybrid Human Capital (HC) Divisional Executive to be based in their Gauteng, South Africa Offices. MAIN PORPOSE FOR THE ROLE: To strategically partner with internal Business Unit (BU) leaders to align HC strategies with business priorities geared at designing and implementing innovative and holistic HC solutions which empower their Group Finance & Risk Management BUs to achieve their respective strategic objectives. KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: At Minimum a degree in human resources, business, social or behavioural science or equivalent. At least 10 years Human Capital Generalist experience, preferably within a financial services environment At least 5 to 6 years senior management experience. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIIBILITIES: Assess HC service delivery by maintaining regular interactions with business stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Build strategic partnerships with business leaders to understand business priorities and requirements. Contribute to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking and benchmarking and representation on related forums. Control the budget for area, including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial controls. Create a positive work climate and culture to energise employees, give meaning to work, minimise work disruption and maximise employee productivity. Define fair and innovative client service practices which build rewarding relationships and allows the team to provide an exceptional client service. Demonstrate exemplary leadership behaviour, through personal involvement, commitment, and dedication in support of organisational values. Develop and implement innovative HC strategies and goals that effectively communicate and support the organisations vision and strategic objectives. Develop Employment Equity and Skills Development strategies for the business in line with The Groups transformation objectives. Drive data integrity standards for HC data and ensure HC governance practices are adhered to. Drive efforts to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility. Drive the implementation of innovative HC solutions aimed at managing organisational change, engaging employees, increasing organisational effectiveness and the strategic management of talent and succession planning across the Group Finance & Risk Management Business Units. Effectively manage performance within the team in order to ensure business objectives are achieved. Enable a learning and growth culture whereby information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared between team members. Encourage innovation, change agility and collaboration within the team. Foster a business culture that is consistent with the vision, purpose, and values of the organisation. Identify employee growth and development needs and schedule interventions to enable ongoing development, training, and personal growth. Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency. Implement risk management, governance, and compliance policies in own practice area, to identify and manage governance and risk exposure liability. Influence the design and development of HC practices, policies and projects across the employee lifecycle that are aligned with business priorities and enable leaders to drive performance and deliver results across Group Finance & Risk Management. Investigate reported wilful acts of non-compliance to organisation policy and practice and report on findings. Keep abreast of trends, legislation, and best practices within the HC industry to enhance and streamline the function. Oversee the development and application of HC metrics to measure the impact and successful implementation of HC solutions. Oversight of the compilation of HC scorecards, monthly reports and other related metrics as required. Partner with HC community in initiating and improving the effective delivery of HC solutions, while integrating and sharing best practices. Provide a clear and consistent Human Capital partnering value proposition that is aligned to and forms an integral part of the strategic intent of the segment. Provide advice and guidance on complex HC issues to effectively support the business and manage risk. Provide leaders with HC insight using metrics to improve business decisions.
