Hydraulic Fitter
Job Description
The incumbent is required to employee his trade skills and experience in the servicing, repairs and maintenance of Hydraulic equipment.
Key Duties and Functions:
Carry out work according to job card detail or as directed, in full and on time.
Mentor, coach and lead work groups as apprentices and general assistants.
Carry out related field Service work as and when required
Carry out all work in accordance with best Hydraulic Practice and in Accordance with legislative norms and engineering standards
Maintain trade tools and general equipment in good order.
Maintain the work environment in a clean state and to a safe standard.
Diagnose faults and decided on remedial repair action.
Determine a scope of work and documents accordingly.
Disassemble, clean, replace and test hydraulic equipment.
Be willing to undergo training and learn skills beyond the field of Hydraulics as and when required.
Be willing carry out hands on work that may not specifically related to Hydraulics such as-Lubrication, Materials Handling, Drives, Condition, Mechanical fitting etc.
Minimum and Requirements:
Matric. Valid trade Qualification. Minimum 5 years Hydraulic Fitter Experience. Work overtime and on public holidays as when tasks demand. Self-driven and able to work unsupervised or with limited supervision. Valid driver's licence.
