Job Summary Key Responsibilities: Inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems such as cylinders, valves, pumps, accumulators, and filters. Assemble power packs and manufacture spare parts for machinery. Bend hydraulic steel piping and crimp fittings onto steel piping and flexible hoses. Service valves, cylinders, pumps, accumulators, and filters. Collaborate in team efforts to build and assemble machinery. Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and install new hydraulic systems. Upgrade existing hydraulic systems and conduct performance tests. Stay informed about industry advancements and incorporate best practices. Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed. Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and regulations. Qualifications: Minimum N2/N3 qualification with a trade qualification in fitter and turner or similar discipline. Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance and repair. Skills and Competencies: Comprehensive understanding of hydraulic and preferably pneumatic systems. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
