The position is responsible for performing ICT security access control, monitor systems, create awareness and related administration to create and maintain technology driven physical security infrastructure for ICT environment and protection of company information. In addition, the position is responsible for the
alignment of information security governance with the business objectives, information security strategy including compliance measurement, deviations and exemptions, as well as development, management and advancement of database and cloud systems.Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-year National Diploma in IT
• Advanced Diploma in Cyber Security
• Network +
• Security +
• Professional level Information Security Certification (CISSP / CISM / CISA) will be an

added advantageMinimum Experience:

• 7 years' experience in IT, 4 of which are within cybersecurity

Functional Trainig:

• Good knowledge and understanding of industry best practice with regards to IT

Security controls such as: Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware, Patch management, Remote
Access VPN, data and web content filtering, Data Loss Prevention

• Good knowledge and understanding of company internal control procedures and risk

policy

• Expert in Microsoft O365
• Expert in Microsoft Azure
• Structured Query Language (SQL) Programming and administration
• Expert in Cybersecurity
• Active Directory

Manage information technology systems
xe2x9exa2 Direct all site network topologies, primary and secondary connections using monitoring tools to notify business of any connection drops.
xe2x9exa2 Monitor network and firewalls from a central location to minimise risks.
xe2x9exa2 Evaluate firewalls so that all are set up to fail over from the primary to the secondary to guarantee minimum downtime in the event of failure.
xe2x9exa2 Assess backup power by checking Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems are in place to remove the risk of power cuts.
xe2x9exa2 Control Anti-Virus systems by ensuring installation on all machines to prevent virus and malware attacks.
xe2x9exa2 Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT
infrastructure.Manage datacentres, servers, and infrastructure
xe2x9exa2 Monitor all cabinets by checking temperature sensors ensuring infrastructure does not overheat.
xe2x9exa2 Update all servers according to latest Windows Updates (Patches) released to minimise risk ok cyber infection.
xe2x9exa2 Direct all networking switch devices through the centralised controller to keep network stable and devices up to date.
xe2x9exa2 Develop offsite access availability to datacentre according to Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) guidelines to assist in the event of
server malfunction.
xe2x9exa2 Monitor server and application health through various tools to enable maximum output.System design and implementation
xe2x9exa2 Define business system requirements by analysing processes to resolve current challenges
xe2x9exa2 Determine requirements and develop project plans by means of user meetings and interviews to finalise pre-requisites.
xe2x9exa2 Develop systems with IT General Manager within needed platforms to guarantee all requirements are met and completed successfully.
xe2x9exa2 Test system with the project requester to guarantee final goal is achieved.
xe2x9exa2 Review system after project has gone live with testing group to enable them to review to give feedback.Monitor and improve firewalls
xe2x9exa2 Manage and monitor internal and hosting firewall rules in conjunction with Networks.
xe2x9exa2 Identify accurate causes of security violations.
xe2x9exa2 Implementation of appropriate remedies to ensure data and systems security.
xe2x9exa2 Proactive implementation of fixes and patches to block viruses and attacks to the entire ICT system environment.
xe2x9exa2 Ensure that the data transmissions are encrypted and configure firewalls to conceal confidential information during transmission.Maintain industry best practices

xe2x9exa2 Conduct proactive and effective communication (Intranet, email, posters) of risks and vulnerabilities to staff.
xe2x9exa2 Researching emerging threats and the safeguards that can provide protectionCloud management and advancement
xe2x9exa2 Maintain, administer and backup of cloud security servers and applications.
xe2x9exa2 Optimizing cloud systems to ensure the network is supportive and responsive
xe2x9exa2 Manage and implement on prem to cloud migrations
xe2x9exa2 Control and maintain public and private cloud, hybrid cloud, or multi-cloudAdministrate reports
xe2x9exa2 Define business system requirements for report by conducting a discussion meeting, accessing the database / data store, and retrieving needed
information to achieve required result.
xe2x9exa2 Create Power Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards by exporting results into Power BI and converting information into a user-friendly view and that
data is of a meaningful nature.
xe2x9exa2 Publish reports to business over the required channels to confirm user view is correct.
