Are you experienced with the costing and planning for groups travelling and partaking in various excursions in South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique & Botswana?Our client based in Century City requires your experience to add value to their dynamic team dealing with clients managing the costing and planning of various travel assignments. Requirements:Matric, relevant qualification advantageousMinimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is essential.Proven experience in travel management of specific regions of operation (South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Botswana)Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skillsPassion for creating out of the box travel experiences Duties and Responsibilities:Client Brief Interpretation:Understand client requirements and preferences.Translate briefs into innovative travel programs.Program Development:Create customized travel itineraries / programmes that highlight the best of our destination.Incorporate unique experiences, hidden gems, local culture & added touches, and signature offerings.Collaboration:Work closely with local industry partners and existing relationships play a large role in the appointment of the applicant.Negotiate contracts and secure competitive rates.Marketing and Promotion:Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract corporate programms to our shores.Assist in creating new and unique content for us to sell.Promote our destination through targeted campaigns.Logistics and Operations:Coordinate transportation, accommodation, functions, events, and all ground activities.Ensure seamless execution of travel programs in conjunction with our Program Tour Directors.Client Interaction:Meet with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.Address any issues promptly and professionally.Budget Management:Develop and manage budgets for each program.Optimize costs while maintaining quality.Safety and Compliance:Ensure all services adhere to health and safety standards.Monitor compliance with regulations.
