In doing so, the work of Night Audit, Front Desk, and the Food and Beverage Cashiers is being audited.xc2xb7 Audit charges to City Ledger and credit card companies before forwarding them to the Accounts Receivable sections.xc2xb7 Audit daily Rooms and Food and Beverage and golfxc2xb7 revenue summaries and their supporting transaction reports of the Night Audit Process.xc2xb7 Audit revenue from telephone, telex, and facsimile unless these are automatically linked to the computer for billing.xc2xb7 Audit revenue from other Operated Departments such as Laundry and Business Center for completeness.xc2xb7 Verify that the computerized Daily Report reflects completely all of the dayxe2x80x99s transactions.xc2xb7 Review paid-outs and allowance vouchers for reasonableness, proper approval, and supporting documentation.xc2xb7 Verify supports for complimentary and house use rooms and for rooms charged at rates varying from the rack potential.xc2xb7 Audit all Food and Beverage outlets checks on the List of Negative Check Lines for explanation and approval by Outlet Managers/automatic kitchen orders.xc2xb7 Audit the List of Voided Restaurant Checks for proper approvals and explanations.xc2xb7 Check the sequential use of Food and Beverage checks, foreign exchange vouchers, official receipts and to investigate any missing or irregular forms.xc2xb7 Review the guest ledger balances daily and research questionable movements.xc2xb7 Investigate late charges. All details should be forwarded to the Credit manager for further action.xc2xb7 Ensure that all employee City Ledger Accounts are closed at month end.xc2xb7 Monitor the organized execution of the night audit program by Front Office personnelxc2xb7 Ensure that all the dayxe2x80x99s Banquet revenue has been recorded.xc2xb7 Monitor cashier shortages/overages; and investigate any substantial amount and bring to the attention of the Director of Financexe2x80x99s office.xc2xb7 Check the daily General Cashierxe2x80x99s report against recorded cash movement.xc2xb7 Spot check the accuracy of regular and contractual room rates in the system.xc2xb7 Review all house use and entertainment checks for propriety and ensure that they are signed and authorized.xc2xb7 Carry out surprise checks of rooms, golf course, fitness centre attendance and car park collections, etc.xc2xb7 Carry out surprise cash counts of cashierxe2x80x99s floats.xc2xb7 Carry out surprise foreign currency countThe Skillxc2xb7 Degree or Diploma in accounting or equivalent an asset, 3-5 years relevant experience requiredxc2xb7 MS Office required.xc2xb7 Minimum 3 years related experienced in accounting income audit.xc2xb7 Must be physically fit and able to adapt a hand on approach to the work.xc2xb7 Opera and Prolific background essential.
