Job Summary IPC Systems & Quality Operations Specialist JOB OVERVIEW We are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee the IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) surveillance program. This role involves maintaining and monitoring the IPC surveillance system to effectively support the IPC Strategy and Program within the hospital group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and manage the IPC surveillance system to ensure its usability, functionality, and efficiency in identifying IPC risks and supporting the IPC Program. Maintain the IPC surveillance program by clearly applying infection definitions within the IPC Strategy framework. Identify and address training needs related to the surveillance system through audits, data analysis, and stakeholder interactions. Manage knowledge related to IPC policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance standards and support Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives. Manage stakeholder relationships for IT system development. REQUIRED EDUCATION A must: Professional Nurse (Diploma/Degree) with a Qualification in Infection Prevention and Control. Preferred: Post Graduate Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE A must: At least 5 years of experience in a dedicated IPC role. Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a private hospital setting. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Proficiency with the ICNet surveillance system and related technologies 9(desirable) Ability to interpret and apply CDC definitions. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills. Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and accreditation standards. Understanding and ability to develop Infection Prevention and Control policies. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong report writing skills. Ability to influence and work with people effectively. Critical thinking and independent decision-making skills. Capability to conduct systems analysis and recommend preventative measures.
