The Information and Records Intern will assist with various IRM and Compliance duties of the organization and will assist with enhancing compliance, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and the advancement of digital transformation. This role will ensure that records are systematically arranged, preserved, and readily accessible, which will facilitate the organization's smooth operation and compliance with regulatory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas
Information and Records Administration:
Assist with the appraisal and disposition of public records.
Assist with setting up Registries (Records Management Units and Records Centre storages)
Assist in the implementation of the various file plans
Assist with Retrieval of documents from offsite storage
Assist with Requested from Archives (Offsite storage)
Assist with update of document registers in the in-house document facility
Assist with IRM Regulatory requirements and controls
Assist with maintaining Registries (Records Management Units and Records Centre storages)
Assist with the appraisal and disposition of public Records
Assist in the implementation of the various file Plans
Assist with Establishing the standards and controls to reliably archive and retrieve records as well as ensure compliance with external audits and related legislative frameworks.
Reporting:
Ensure system related administrative documents are completed as agreed and saved in Sasnet.
Provide input into monthly reports
Adhoc tasks:
* Provide Purchase Requisition and Invoice processing support for IRM.
