Job Description

We're looking for a proactive and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our team at the CBS office. If you're passionate about technology, enjoy solving problems, and have the skills to manage IT systems, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:



System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Maintain and manage computer systems, networks, and peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly. Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.

User Support:

Provide technical support to staff for day-to-day IT needs. Set up and configure workstations, printers, and mobile devices. Assist with onboarding/offboarding IT setup (accounts, hardware, etc.).

Work Management and Accounting Software Support:

Provide in-house software support for our work management (Monday.com), accounting (Xero), and Google Workspace platforms, ensuring seamless integration and making necessary adjustments.

Network Administration:

Monitor network performance to ensure optimal functionality. Address connectivity issues and liaise with external providers when necessary. Implement and manage secure access protocols.

IT Security & Cybersecurity:

Oversee the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and protocols to ensure the safety of our data and systems. Conduct periodic data backups, monitor antivirus updates, and respond to potential security breaches. Implement measures to strengthen the company's overall cybersecurity posture.

Remote Support for JHB Office:

Provide remote IT assistance to staff at the JHB office. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely. Coordinate with the JHB team to address their IT requirements.

Inventory and Vendor Management:

Track IT assets and manage inventory effectively. Coordinate with external vendors for procurement and repair services.

Project Support:

Collaborate with departments on IT-related projects. Propose and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and support the company's growth.

Qualifications and Experience:



Proven experience in IT support or a similar role. Proficiency in Windows, Office 365, Google Workspace, and basic networking concepts. Experience with work management software (Monday.com) and accounting software (Xero). Strong knowledge of IT security and cybersecurity practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Own vehicle is a must, and you must be willing to travel as required.
