Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and knowledgeable Sales Representative. The successful candidate must maintain good customer relationships and display effective communication skills when dealing with customer complaints among other requirements.The customer base is situated in the Garden Route and extensive travel forms part and parcel of this position.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Make weekly in person sales calls to an assigned route and develop customer relationships.xc2xb7 Beverage innovation as well as preparation/demonstrations is keyxc2xb7 Identify new and existing opportunities in each account and complete required surveys.xc2xb7 Prepare and execute professional data driven sales presentations/tastings to customers using the brand specific sales data.xc2xb7 Capture all calls and activities on a handheld device by utilising a sales forward application.xc2xb7 Demonstrate the ability to meet and exceed assigned monthly business targetsxc2xb7 Ensure maximum brand visibility within assigned accounts through shelf set placements in retail, and various other merchandising opportunities.xc2xb7 Sell in and execute authorized promotions.xc2xb7 Monitor and track inventory of products within each account to ensure sufficient amounts of product on hand and reduce any out-of-stock items.xc2xb7 Look for new opportunities on a daily basis to improve distribution, sales and servicexc2xb7 Strive to dominate the competition with all forms of available point-of-salexc2xb7 Maintain accurate records and process all orders, reports and forms as requiredxc2xb7 Identify and solicit all lost, inactive or potential new accounts in the assigned route territoryxc2xb7 Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.xc2xb7 Enter and update customer information in the database.xc2xb7 Take and process orders in an accurate manner..xc2xb7 Keeping up to date on all products and informing customers of new products.xc2xb7 Meeting sales targets.Requirements and skillsxc2xb7 Matric qualificationxc2xb7 Must be a result oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skillsxc2xb7 Strong customer service orientation.xc2xb7 Ability to work independently or with a team and motivate othersxc2xb7 Proven experience as a sales representative or in a customer service role.xc2xb7 Must pay attention to detail, strong analytical skills and deadline driven.xc2xb7 This job standard is not intended to be all-inclusive.
