Job Summary Our client, a well established Electrical Contractor, seeks to employ an installation electrician, with a valid 3 phase wiremans licence, for their solar and renewable energy projects team in Gqeberha. Please note that this role does require a candidate with a trade test and wiremans license, with the ability to work on site in and outside of the Eastern Cape region . KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company. You will have completed a trade test as electrician , coupled with having a Wiremans License and 2-3 years experience in the construction and/or reticulation electrical sector, specifically working on renewable energy projects. You will be able to Read and Interpret Site Plans, Single Line Diagrams, Electrical Schematics, General Arrangements and implement this onsite with minimal supervision or support. In addition, you will have experience in the adherence to and compliance with construction and electrical safety and legislation. You must have a valid drivers licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record Please note that should you not be currently resident in the region and area advertised but still wish to apply, the cost of travel for interviews and relocation will be for your expense.
