A perfect store is the alignment of product, price, place, promotion, people, and process to guide shoppers to our desired products exactly where we want them, with the highest chance of getting them to buy. Overall, it is the culmination of all your sales, marketing, and category management efforts into a seamless shopper experience, that directly leads to our intended results.What is Trax? Trax is a Technology Solution, that uses Image Recognition Machine Learning. In a nutshell, images are taken during store visits, these images are digitized and fed into a data lake for reporting against pre-set KPIs that benefit those in the field, and Head Office for tracking and strategic planning. Trax leverages real-time data and analytics via their technology platform to optimize product placement, inventory management, driving sales and enhancing the overall shopper experience.This role has 2 distinct parts:Database management:You will be solely accountable for the backend data management of the system: Product and Competitor Masterfiles, Targets and KPIs, Stores and Staff etc. These are mostly in excel format. You will need to collaborate with multiple departments to upload the correct data to obtain the required reporting results. This would also involve collaboration with BU and Global Teams, plus the Trax service team.Your attention to detail in this section is imperative, as it will affect the reporting of the insights gained - this is the data that senior management will use when making business decisions. There is a very large financial investment behind this technology, so the insights need to be accurate and in time - all this circles back to the cleanliness of the data you put into the system, it starts and ends with you.Insight Generation & Presentation:Trax targets need to be set for the year or when any business-critical changes come into play, in line with our market shares, sales activities and routes, promotional calendar and trade investments. Once set, the business would need to keep a close eye on tracking against these KPIs. You will be the key driver!
