In-Store Salesperson
### Responsibilities:
- Greet Customers: Welcome customers as they enter the store and offer assistance.
- Understand Customer Needs: Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the store's products and services to effectively assist and advise customers.
- Sales: Assist customers in selecting products, provide product information, and close sales.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Suggest additional products or complementary items to enhance the customer's purchase experience.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock management, including restocking shelves and updating inventory records.
- Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
### Requirements:
- Experience: Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or marketing is a plus.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Appearance: Presentable and professional appearance.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
