PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Instructional Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing and developing engaging, effective learning experiences by applying instructional design principles and learning theories while collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts. The role requires a creative, adaptable professional with strong technical and communication skills, and a passion for continuous learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Apply instructional design models and learning theories to develop training programmes and engaging learning experiences. Design and deliver learning solutions aligned with organisational needs. Design training materials for various learning levels and delivery formats. Design and integrate simulations, interactive elements, and multimedia that are learner-centred and enrich learning. Communicate ideas clearly through written, verbal, and visual formats. Build strong relationships and engage diverse audiences with persuasive content delivery. Manage resources to deliver high-quality learning solutions. Utilise LMS platforms, eLearning authoring tools and multimedia software. Maintain technical accuracy and user engagement in digital learning assets. Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data and feedback. Champion a culture of continuous learning and growth. Plan, coordinate, and execute learning projects within scope, time, and budget. Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

A diploma or degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field is preferred. 3-5 years of experience in course design, online learning and/or instructional design. Proficiency with Google Workspace and digital tools for virtual facilitation and online learning. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver and track learning interventions. Skilled in creating engaging learning content across various formats.
