The Instrument Mechanician will be responsible for fault finding on DCS and all instrumentation installations.
Purpose of the Job
Installation and programming of PLC via simulation.
Fault finding on DCS and all instrumentation installations.
Servicing and maintenance of instrumentation.
Monitoring of controls by maintaining a constant watch of controls and pressures depicted.
Design electrical and pneumatic circuits.
Wiring panels according to drawings and diagrams.
Comply with all THS Regulations (SHEQ, ISO, HACCP).
Qualifications, experience and personal qualities
Matric with at least N2 Instrumentation, and a recognised Trade Test certificate.
Minimum three (3) years post apprenticeship experience in an industrial environment.
Reliable, challenging and safe worker.
Working with minimum supervision.
