Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently looking for a skilled Instrument Technician to join their mining team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems used in mining operations.Responsibilities:

• Give priority to and execute the job according to the Work Order and the specified Task List.
• Accurately log the Work Order in ONKEY, including the correct time and all necessary details to the required standard.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor/Foreman about any discrepancies between the task instructions and the actual job requirements.
• Offer feedback and suggestions on deficiencies, defects, and additional maintenance needed to return equipment to its original safe operating condition.
• Order necessary consumables and request essential spare parts used.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Process Instrumentation
• Trade Test Certificate as an Instrument Technician.
• Advanced PLC & SCADA Programming
• 5 years' experience as an Instrument Technician in the mining industry
• Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of instruments and control systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
