RPO Recruitment is partnering with a prominent player in the mining industry to find a highly skilled Instrumentation Superintendent to join their team in the North West region. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the instrumentation department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant's instrumentation systems.We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in the mining industry, specifically within the plant environment and tier 3 project execution. As the Instrumentation Superintendent, you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and achieving operational targets.Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the instrumentation team
• Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and programs
• Ensure the availability and reliability of instrumentation systems
• Manage the department's budget and resources
• Oversee the planning and execution of instrumentation projects
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the instrumentation systems

Requirements

• National Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
• Trade Certificate in Measurement, Control and Instrumentation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the mining industry in the plant environment and tier 3 project execution
• At least 3 years' experience in supervising and leading technicians

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the mining industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
