Job Title: Instrumentation Technician - Mining IndustryLocation: North West RegionRPO Recruitment's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation Technician to join their team in the mining industry in the Northwest region. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation and control systems in our mining operations. The Instrumentation Technician will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Work closely with other technicians and engineers to improve processes and systems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment maintenance schedules
• Participate in training programs to stay current on industry standards and technology

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Process Instrumentation or N6 in Instrumentation with Trade Test Certificate
• At least 4 years' experience as an Instrument Technician in the mining industry
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
