Our esteemed manufacturing client, a global powerhouse with a significant presence in South Africa, is seeking an Instrumentation Technician who is not just skilled but also driven and safety-conscious.
- A National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Electrical Engineering (Process Instrumentation) or NQF 7 Btech.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Spearhead projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring they align with the budget.
- Guarantee maximum plant availability by co-managing Instrumentation equipment and systems.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and oversee the quality control of projects and installations.
- Enhance process availability and provide technical support to maintenance teams.
- Conduct failure analysis and train Instrumentation personnel.
- Collaborate with external companies and internal departments.
- Proficient in systems networking and analytical equipment.
- Adept with MS Projects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP PM modules.
- An expert in fault-finding and applying technical knowledge to plant equipment.
- Safety-conscious, team-oriented, highly motivated, and performance-driven.
- Capable of independent work with excellent communication skills.
