• As Instrumentation Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all instrumentation equipment in accordance with Linde standards
• Professionally you will perform analyser calibration as per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or local procedures and demonstrate adequate attention to detail while performing analyser calibration
• Demonstrating methodical thoroughness while performing any instrumentation work is part of your responsibilities
• Recognising all types of instruments at the site and correctly identifying their process function will be part of your work routine
• The provision of technical resources for instrumentation fault finding as well as for improvement in the maintenance planning function is an important part of your working routine

What makes you great

• A Matric certificate or Engineering Studies N4 to N6 equivalent, as well as a Trade Test in Instrumentation could successfully be achieved by you
• You gained at least 4 to 8 years of experience in a related industrial environment
• Knowledge about process systems including instrumentation, control valves, vibration monitoring equipment, Programmable Logic Controllers, software and hardware is part of your expertise
• The ability to analyze electronic circuits, conduct fault finding, testing and repair is part of your expertise
• In addition, familiarity with electrical systems and equipment in flammable environments or gained experience with the inspection and testing requirements of above is desirable
