Job Summary Our client in the Banking/ Fintech industry is recruiting for an Insurance Management Product manager for a 6-12 month contract. Your role will involve providing strategic leadership, industry expertise, and portfolio management to develop insurance products within a telecommunications framework. You will craft and execute a roadmap for delivering innovative and efficient insurance solutions, leveraging your specialized knowledge across the African markets we serve. Additionally, you will liaise with key stakeholders to define regulatory requirements, product capabilities, and Go-To-Market strategies, ensuring a differentiated customer experience. Collaborating with technology providers and industry experts will be essential to achieving our objectives and exceeding expectations. Your extensive experience in insurance will be instrumental in driving the creation and development of cutting-edge insurance products. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between telecommunications capabilities and insurance opportunities, ensuring our markets implement tailored solutions effectively. Over 4 years of professional experience in insurance product development or related fields Strong understanding of mobile money, fintech, and financial services Knowledge of regulatory environments and future trends Experience working with African and emerging market consumers Analytical mindset with strong business acumen Results-driven with solid influencing and negotiation skills Champion Insurance Management Product Strategy Execution: Develop the vision for the insurance portfolio Create business cases for various insurance products Drive the Insurance roadmap, incorporating industry and customer research Advocate for customers across different segments in product development Evaluate vendor capabilities and contribute to product design specifications Coordinate with product creation teams to ensure timely delivery Spearhead Partnerships to Drive Innovation: Define partnership strategy for Insurance solutions with relevant stakeholders Lead business development efforts, negotiating key terms and supporting legal processes Cultivate "trusted advisor" relationships with business leaders across markets Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred Passion for driving mobile money growth and innovation Willingness to travel frequentlyTalentCruRecruiter
