Job Description


Facilitate and implement cidbs Intergovernmental Relations xc2xb7 xc2xb7Facilitate and implement the intergovernmental strategy framework and guidelines for the cidb.cilitate and implement the intergovernmental strategy framework and guidelines for the cidb xc2xb7 Promote intergovernmental cooperation through IGR protocols xc2xb7 Coordinate inter-sphere and inter-sectoral intergovernmental cooperation xc2xb7 Monitor, evaluate, report and provide input on the IGR agenda xc2xb7 Develop the IGR database (all sphere of the Government) xc2xb7 Review the operations and procedures of the Intergovernmental Relations function xc2xb7 Develop monitoring mechanisms for critical intergovernmental institutions xc2xb7 Implement the IGR Joint Plans.Establish partnerships with private sector stakeholders to advance the cidb mandate xc2xb7 Facilitate and implement the strategy for cidb partnerships with the private sector xc2xb7 Identify possible synergies and establish partnerships with private sector stakeholders xc2xb7 Leverage partnerships in-order to ensure cidb accomplishes its overall goals xc2xb7 Facilitate the development of Memoranda of Agreements / Understanding with private sector stakeholders xc2xb7 Monitor progress of the targets in the approved Memoranda of Agreements / Understanding with private sector stakeholders.Serve as the key liaison and project coordinator for matters related to the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure, and Parliament xc2xb7 Execute requests for reports and information from the shareholder i.e. the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (DPWI) in a timely manner and ensure that there is a high level of quality xc2xb7 Represent the cidb at DPWI intergovernmental forums xc2xb7 Facilitate the engagement between cidb and Parliament related to cidb reports and presentations xc2xb7 Facilitate cidb responses to parliamentary questions send to cidb xc2xb7 Provide high-quality reports to the Director: Business Improvement, at the agreed frequency.Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Management, Business related degree, Communications Or Analytical field coupled with the requisite knowledge and experience. Knowledge of Intergovernmental Relations Framework Act (Act 13 of 2005), Public Finance Management Act, Municipal Finance Management Act and related legislation. Five (5) years experience related to intergovernmental relations and/or stakeholder relations management.Closing Date: 4 March 2025Preference will be given to suitably qualified Applicants who are members of the designated groups in line with the Employment Equity Plan and Targets of the Organisation
