Cnc Milling Programmer Cape Town Montague Gardens
Job Description
A well-established engineering company is currently looking for an experienced CNC Machine Programmer.
Salary R20 000 - R35 000 negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates
Modify existing programs for different machines
Maintain tooling database
Make manual program adjustments as necessary
Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
During the manufacturing process, you will perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making manual adjustments if necessary
Requirements:
Must be able to program a CNC milling machine
Must be able to use Mastercam as well as Fusion 360
Must be able to set up the CNC milling machines
Must be able to work with close tolerances
Must have a good and clear understanding of the various tools to be used
Must have at least 2 contactable references
Clear criminal record & ITC
