Purpose:
We are looking for an Experienced Curtains Seamstress
Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in creating high-quality curtains and window treatments.
- Primary responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and sewing fabric to craft custom curtains that meet clients' specifications.
- Attention to detail and precision in sewing are essential to ensure the finished products are of superior quality.
- Measure windows accurately to determine fabric requirements for each curtain project.
- Select appropriate fabrics and trims based on client preferences and design specifications.
- Cut fabric according to measurements, ensuring proper alignment and pattern matching.
- Sew curtains using various stitching techniques such as straight stitch, blind hem, and pleating as needed.
- Install hardware such as grommets, hooks, or rods to complete the curtain assembly.
- Inspect finished curtains for quality standards, including seams, hems, and overall appearance.
- Uphold deadlines and manage multiply projects simultaneously while delivering exceptional results.
- Proven experience as a seamstress specializing in curtain-making or drapery fabrication.
- Proficiency in sewing techniques and using industrial sewing machines.
