You'll play a key role in both the enhancement and maintenance of systems while also contributing to new functionality and integrations that support high-volume transaction processing.Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent training in Software Development, Computer Science, or Engineering.

Requirements:

• 35 years of relevant development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (Standard and Enterprise Editions), Spring Boot, and SQL (MS SQL Server/Postgres).
• Experience with development workflows using Eclipse/NetBeans, Maven, GIT.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration, Testing Environments, and OpenAPI protocols.

Advantageous Skills:

• Exposure to financial transaction processing systems.
• Experience with multi-threaded, high-volume real-time systems.
• Postilion development skills (source/sink node development).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Front-end development experience using the Angular framework.

Key Performance Areas:

• Technical integration of new clients into systems.
• Development testing, fixes, and ongoing maintenance.
• Enhancing existing functionality and developing new solutions.
• Providing 3rd-line support and resolving technical queries.
• Supporting system security measures and audits.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of development techniques and processes.
