Premier travel company specializing in bespoke experiences across Africa, is looking for an Intermediate Inbound Travel Consultant.Mission is to provide unforgettable journeys that connect travelers with the natural beauty and rich culture of the continent. Dedicated to offering personalized service and exceptional travel experiences, ensuring clients have a seamless and memorable adventures.Role Summary:As an Inbound Travel Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients. You will manage the entire travel booking process, from initial inquiry through to post-travel feedback. Your expertise in Southern Africa destinations and your ability to create tailored itineraries will be crucial in delivering exceptional service.Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing prompt and professional responses.
• Conduct detailed consultations to understand clientsxe2x80x99 travel preferences, needs, and budget.
• Design customized itineraries, including accommodation, activities, and transportation.
• Coordinate all aspects of the booking process, including flights, transfers, accommodations, and excursions.
• Provide pre-departure information, support during travel, and follow up post-trip to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations, lodges, and activities to provide accurate and inspiring recommendations.
• Drive sales by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services and experiences.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth execution of itineraries and handle any issues that arise.
• Tourplan experience an advantage.
• Candidate must have good attention to detail and be a team player.

Minimum Requirements:Education and Experience:

• 2-3 years' experience Inbound FIT Reservations experience is non-negotiable.
• Tourism qualification or similar will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and partners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable travel experiences.

• Someone with relationships with international agents (inbound) is very critical.
