Job Description
Our client, that is a fast-growing finance and technology company operating in South Africa and neighbouring countries, is looking to employ an Intermediate Product Owner. The company is well supported by strong shareholders and a board of directors with vast experience in entrepreneurship and lending.Responsibilities:
- You will be the product owner for our credit products, system implementation of the credit policy, credit scoring and provisioning, and system data.
- Define, prioritize and deliver changes.
- Be a driving force to ensure timeous quality implementations. Get involved wherever required.
- Perform root cause analysis on issues experienced.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, primarily the data and credit teams.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience (Product Owner, Business / System Analyst and / or any other proof of relevant abilities).
- Experience in writing SQL database queries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using logical pragmatic reasoning.
- A concern for order, quality and accuracy. A meticulous approach to work.
- Fast and self-learning abilities.
