Subcontractor tender adjudications and appointments.
Preparing monthly claims, labour-only subcontractors, and subcontractor payment valuations.
Agreeing subcontractor variations and ensuring full recovery under the main contract.
Preparing and negotiating final accounts.
Preparing and submission of payment claims.
Assisting in tendering for new projects.
Analysing project specifications, accurately measuring from drawings, and compiling Bills of Quantities for tender purposes.
Rate build-ups for all trades.
Compiling and updating project cash flow projections and reporting
Will report directly to and work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure company business objectives are met and expected project profit margins are exceeded.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Solid track record.
Strong knowledge of construction costs and pricing strategies
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with 3 - 5 years experience.
Exposure to high-end residential projects will be beneficial.
Microsoft Office and CCS/QTO experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Self-disciplined to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Ability to communicate fluently in Afrikaans and English.
Own reliable transport and a valid drivers license.
Location: Durbanville, Western Cape, candidate should be willing to relocate. Education: Degree (Btech / BSc (Quantity Surveying) (Required) Experience: 3 - 5 Years of relevant experience in a QS environment with exposure to high-end residential projects.
