Intermediate Quantity SurveyorAbout the Role:
Cape Town City Building Contractor is seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team for building contracts across the city. In this dynamic role, youll play a key part in ensuring project cost control, financial accuracy, and contract compliance on various city development projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and financial management of building contracts.
- Prepare and monitor project cost reports, including valuations and progress claims.
- Oversee procurement, tendering, and contract management.
- Collaborate with project teams, architects, and contractors to deliver within budget and timelines.
- Assist in the resolution of disputes and contract variations.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, South African building regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and MS Office and CCS
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
