A front-runner in education finance and fund management is recruiting for a forward-thinking Software Developer.Intermediate Software Developer
Roodepoort, HybridQualifications:

• Degree in Computer Sciences or IT related.
• Courses in .Net and other object orientated languages training or equivalent.
• Exposure to the Microsoft Azure.
• Exposure to the Microsoft DevOps.

Requirements:

• A minimum of at least 3 - 5 years experience in Microsoft software development.
• Exposure to Agile methodology.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Understanding of project management principles.
• Expert in Microsoft technologies.
• Strong in C# and proficient in one or more development language (.NET. PHP, MS SQL, Azure, Java, CSS, HTML, MVCWeb API, V.B. Net, etc.)

KPAs:

• The Intermediate Software Developer holds responsibility for designing, developing, installing, testing, maintaining, and supporting software systems to enhance business efficiency and elevate customer service. Their duties encompass writing and coding programmes, software systems, web, and mobile applications to align with business and product development objectives.
• Assessing current systems and proposing improvements, including effort estimations.
• Generating documentation as needed.
• Software development (.NET) with proficiency in full-stack development and a solid grasp of software engineering principles.
• Planning, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
• Conducting unit testing of code components and entire applications.
• Managing dependencies and interfaces between project deliverables.
• Designing and developing reporting models to meet business requirements.
• Ensuring high-quality product delivery to testers with minimal defects.
• Providing ongoing maintenance for systems.
• Collaborating with the infrastructure team to evaluate system performance and implement modifications.
• Making requested modifications to existing databases and reports.
• Offering day-to-day system support as required.
• Producing documentation as necessary.
