Requirements:

• RPA or PowerApps experience or certifications will be advantageous
• Experience using tools such as Blue Prism and Microsoft PowerApps will be advantageous
• IT-related diploma or higher; or ISTQB foundation certification minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in functional and automation testing

The scope of work will include:

• Analyze business and automation requirements to understand what the RPA bots and PowerApps solutions are expected to do
• Create test plans that define the scope, objectives, and approach for testing RPA bots and PowerApps solutions
• Develop detailed test cases that cover various scenarios, including edge cases, to ensure all aspects of the functionality is tested
• Validate individual components or scripts to ensure they work as expected
• Test the solutions in a real or simulated environment to ensure it perform the expected tasks correctly
• Verify that the RPA bot and PowerApps solutions interact correctly with other systems, applications, and bots
• Ensure that any new changes or fixes donxe2x80x99t break existing functionality
• Log any issues or defects found during testing, with detailed steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results
• Work closely with RPA and PowerApp developers to resolve identified defects, retest, and ensure they are fixed
• Generate test summary reports to communicate the quality and readiness of the bot and apps for production deployment
• Assess the speed, efficiency, and reliability of the RPA bots and PowerApps solutions under various conditions and loads
• Ensure that the RPA bot and PowerApps solutions adhere to security protocols and doot introduce vulnerabilities (e.g., by managing sensitive data properly).
• Verify that the RPA bot and PowerApps solution comply with regulatory requirements
• specific to the industry, such as data privacy laws
• Maintain proper documentation of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results
• Recommend improvements to the RPA bots and PowerApps solutions testing process based on lessons learned and best practices
• Work with business analysts, RPA developers, PowerApp developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the automation and software solution
• Provide feedback during the design phase to help improve automation processes before they reach testing
• Assist in the user acceptance testing phase by providing guidance, test cases, and helping users understand what to test
• Keep up with the latest RPA and PowerApps tools, testing methodologies, and industry trends to enhance testing strategies and automation effectiveness
