Job Description


The Candidate will gain knowledge through the support of the team that specializes in real estate transaction management. The candidate will work in close collaboration with the Tenant Representation team in a support role capacity. The Candidate must demonstrate analytical capabilities and comfort working with all colleagues to gain an in-depth understanding of JLL operations, strategy, and services. The candidate must demonstrate an ambition and willingness to take on new challenges. Efficiently use words to communicate complex ideas, be capable of managing stress, be accepting of constructive feedback, and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Administration

  • Understand the transaction invoicing and revenue recognition process.
  • Keep a record of transactions that are ongoing and concluded including;
Size of the property

Use of the property

Total lease value

Gross and net fee earned

How client was sourced

Who concluded the transaction.

Analysis
  • Preparing detailed financial analysis, including NPV cash flows
  • Performing complex financial analyses with supervision
  • Evaluating client building alternatives and lease options on qualitative and quantitative analysis
Research
  • Gathering and evaluating property data to determine current and future real estate trends from external and internal sources.
  • Researching companies, landlords, and potential subtenants to aid in business development.
  • Previewing stock opportunities, developing fact sheets, and gathering photos and floor plans.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of other research and marketing initiatives as needed.
Client Interaction / Transactions
  • Assist the Tenant Representation team on client assignments. Key tasks include;
Market research

Financial analysis

Presentation preparation for client pitches, RFPs, presentations, and proposals.

Assist with transaction reporting.
  • Participation in internal and external meetings and building tours.
  • Reviewing lease documents and writing lease summaries and abstracts.
  • Reviewing documents and other materials as part of the due diligence process.
General Competencies

Strong analytical background with attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks. Ability to coordinate tasks in accordance with priorities. Show proof of rigor and autonomy when working. Ability to work to meet deadlines, even when timeframes are demanding.

Professional Competencies

Graduate in the Real Estate / Finance. The candidate must have basic knowledge and understanding of the Real Estate Industry. Must be proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint. Excellent understanding of MS Excel. Be capable of engaging in corporate email communication and basic business etiquette.
