We provide the opportunity to establish yourself within a professional, corporate environment in the countryside.:The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for the effective management of the internal audit division in the Free State. Key responsibilities include scheduling and planning audits, initiating project planning, assessing risk, and developing audit directions within the VKB Group.Requirements:

• Completed B.Com degree with Accounting and Auditing as major subjects
• Completed articles (recommended)
• At least 3 years' experience in auditing
• Driver's license (Code 8)
• Excellent computer literacy within MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Experience in data analytics
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English
• Supportive role towards the rest of the team

• Effectively manage the internal audit division in the Free State
• Schedule and plan audits, initiate project planning, assess risk, and develop audit directions
• Manage the human capital function of the internal audit department in the Free State
• Control expenses and income on a monthly basis
• Report audit progress and matters quarterly to management for inclusion in Board meetings
• Develop, maintain, and evaluate audit programs on an ongoing basis
• Prepare and distribute summary audit reports to management within appropriate timelines for routine audits
• Analyze financial or operational information to identify risks preventively and follow up on an ongoing basis (data analytical)
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate audits (routine and ad-hoc) within the appropriate operational points
• Review audit reports and working papers within appropriate timelines for the audit (forensic, ad-hoc, routine investigations)
• Liaise continuously with internal departments, customers, suppliers, professional bodies, authorities, and relevant committees/associations to ensure quality of service, long-term relationships, and compliance with legislative requirements and regulations
