A global leader in banking and asset management is on the hunt for a dynamic Internal Auditor to join their esteemed team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in spearheading audit initiatives and meticulously managing audit processes.
Your contributions will be key in assessing and refining our financial operations, particularly within corporate and institutional banking, including our treasury and trading desks.

• Lead the initiation and planning of audit projects, identifying key risks and defining scope.
• Conduct and oversee audits, ensuring results are delivered with precision and within deadlines.
• Mentor and supervise TOPP students and other audit team members.
• Execute audits from start to finish, demonstrating strong technical expertise.
• Apply deep knowledge of Level 1 risks such as Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Credit Risk.
• Use your understanding of corporate and institutional banking to enhance audit effectiveness.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom in Internal Audit / Accounting
• BCom Honours / CTA
• CIA / CA(SA) certification

Experience:

• 4-6 years of hands-on internal audit experience, with a comprehensive approach from inception to reporting.
• Profound knowledge of corporate and institutional banking, especially in treasury and trading environments.

Skills & Competencies:

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced technical knowledge of Level 1 risks.
• Expertise in banking operations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management.
