My client is looking for an Internal Auditor who is eager to roll up their sleeves and set up the internal audit department from scratch. Youxe2x80x99ll be the driving force behind the department's growth, handling everything from systems to finance to operations - until the team is strong enough to operate independently.
If you have a strong understanding of internal audit processes, a sharp eye for detail, and forensic experience, my client wants you to track down success with them. Ready to make an impact from day one? Let's audit this opportunity together!Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Establish and manage the internal audit function, from policy development to day-to-day operations
• Conduct thorough audits across systems, finance, and operations to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Identify potential risks and weaknesses in processes and recommend effective improvements
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Work independently to complete audits, analyze findings, and provide actionable insights
• Oversee forensic audits and investigations, identifying any fraudulent activities or discrepancies
• Build the audit department over time, from hands-on execution to team leadership as the function expand

Education Requirements:

• Relevant Degree
• Professional Membership (IRBA, CISA, etc)

Job Requirements and Skills:

• Completed Articles with 5+ years' post-articles experience in a audit position with exposure to finance, systems and operations
• Forensic audit experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Proficient in MS packages
• Deadline driven
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
• Team player
