Job Description

As an Internal Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across our diverse agricultural operations.Duties and responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, operational procedures, and internal controls.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with management to develop audit plans and strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Proficiency in MS office suite and experience with audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA) is a plus.
- Identify areas of potential risk and provide timely insights to mitigate these risks.
- Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations for management review.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on action plans.
- B.Com in Internal Auditing/ Accounting qualification
- Completed SAICA articles (advantageous)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (audit experience preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable on the agriculture and farming
