Job Description
Internal Auditor with relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 3 years' internal auditing experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry, required for a position in Stellenbosch.Minimum requirements:
- Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree / Advanced Diploma required
- Minimum 3-5 years' internal auditing experience required
- Financial Services experience advantageous
- Must be willing to travel
- Operational Audits
- Ongoing audits of areas vulnerable to operational fraud
- Unusual loan account transactions
- Branch-cash-out instances
- Expense abuse
- Cash variance checking
- End of day variances
- Monthly cash counts
- Cash to bank
- Client sampling
- Financial Audits - audit implementation of accounting policies
- Loan book reconciliation
- Expense authorizations/legitimacy audit
- Clearing account reconciliation review
- Banking rights/recipients audit
- Inspect processed journals
- Compliance audits
- Regulatory compliance
