Job Description

A typical day includes drafting messaging for internal audiences, creating dynamic and engaging content for internal marketing activity and campaigns, and overseeing internal social media accounts, as well as Glass Door, to maintain and enhance the employer brand. This individual will bring exceptional storytelling and interpersonal skills to build meaningful experiences, foster collaboration, and strengthen employee connections within Flash Group.




RESPONSIBILITIES:




Develop and execute a cohesive internal content strategy and calendar aligned with the company's vision, mission, goals, and external campaigns, with a focus on digital platforms. Manage and update the internal employee app, ensuring a steady flow of engaging and informative updates to enhance employee engagement. Collaborate with teams across the business to keep employees informed of key updates, initiatives, and achievements while maintaining alignment with Flash Group's messaging across all internal channels. Create compelling content that educates, engages and positions Flash as a fintech employer of choice, supporting business objectives and fostering a strong company culture across digital platforms. Partner with HR and Marketing to ensure internal and external communications are consistent in tone, messaging, and themes, meeting the diverse content needs of the organisation. Generate and curate content that aligns with current trends, key company events and the Flash culture and values to ensure relevance and impact. Create and manage engaging posts for the LinkedIn Life at Flash page, analyse performance metrics quarterly, and use insights to refine content strategies and amplify the employer brand. Monitor and respond to interactions on platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor, ensuring prompt and professional community management. Develop clear and impactful communication content to support change management initiatives, driving employee understanding and alignment. Collaborate with the HR team on brand-related initiatives, including managing inventory for new starter merchandise to ensure a consistent and welcoming onboarding experience. Use SEO principles and basic keyword research to optimise content including LinkedIn articles, job adverts etc.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:





Degree or Diploma in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or a related field is advantageous 3-5 years' experience working within a related field, such as Communications, PR or in Digital Marketing environment. Experience working across various digital platforms, such as LinkedIn and Instagram.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS:





Excellent grammar and editing skills Strong conceptual and writing skills with a comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape Familiarity with project management tools like Asana Familiarity with copywriting tools such as Grammarly An understanding of how content design, layout, and delivery correlate with copy. A basic understanding of how to create and use design templates in PowerPoint and Canva. Knowledge of SEO principles to optimise content on digital platforms.
