Minimum Requirements
NQF Level 4-5 / Higher Certificate/ Grade 12
Minimum 3 years Sales experience essential within a contracts and projects environment
3 years steel industry experience advantageous
Strong knowledge of all Trading products
Must be in possession of a driver's license Code B
Intermediate proficient levels in SAP, Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Administration:
Accurately interpret the clients' technical requirements
Ability to read, interpret and understand technical drawings from customers.
Create and issue Purchase Orders
Accurately calculate and capture all relevant sales orders and provide quotation.
Contract administration. Administrate contract sales orders in line with contract requirements.
Communicate product requirements to purchasing department.
Communicate new leads to external sales representative and sales management.
Liaise with distribution to ensure on time delivery.
Ensure customer is kept well informed on order. Implement corrective action when required.
Issue credit and debit notes as per procedure in timely manner.
Attend to customer needs in an urgent manner.
Communicate all customer service failures to sales management.
Identify possible new clients.
Sales Management:
Ensure sales targets are maintained or exceeded as set by the Business Unit/ Branch.
Ensure feedback is communicated on quotes, orders, stock out items and service delivery failure.
People Management:
Complete Individual Development Plan. Attend learning and development courses. Participate in peer and team learning initiatives.
Stakeholder Relations:
Build, support and maintain interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.
Governance, Compliance and Risk Management:
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organizational standards, policies and procedures within span of control and monitor implementation to ensure full compliance.
Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
Reporting:
Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data. File documents per procedure.
