GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Consultation with customers by phone with the objective to generate sales. Provides product, promotion & price information to clarify customer requests.
Maintain customer database by inputting/updating customer data
Processing orders as per work procedure
Lead follow-up & creation of quotations
Quote follow-ups
Receiving shipments
Assisting with sending statements
Maintaining stock control, stock taking and the stock room
Assisting external sales & director with sales related queries
Assists with inbound and outbound logistics
On time completion of online academy learning path

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring that incoming calls are answered timeously in a friendly professional manner
Written & telephonic sales enquiries on the companyxe2x80x99s food and calibration products as well as following up on existing quotes for all products
Processing client orders, arranging calibrations orders with the lab and dispatch of orders
Upskilling themself on the companyxe2x80x99s products to a level deemed competent by their manager
Ensuring that the POxe2x80x99s, Proof of payment, customers, other requests and repair inbox is dealt with promptly and attended to daily including statement requests
Ensuring that all items for calibration/repair are booked into the system and handed over to the relevant technical people within a 24 hour period from receiving the item
Filling in of vendor forms
Filing of PODxe2x80x99s and order confirmation
