Our client in the Textile industry is currently looking for an Internal Sales Consultant, in Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

• Drives sales and directs operational activities of International product ranges to customers in the allocated area and develops new business to meet sales targets.
• Visits key customers and provides weekly call reports.
• Identifies customer needs considering market trends, spending patterns, and competitor activity.
• Develops plans for maintaining existing clients and growing market share.
• Promotes and sells international ranges, highlights new products, and offers replacement products on discontinued or out-of-stock items.
• Delivers high-quality sales presentations and follows up on leads, sales opportunities, and quotations.
• Develop new business and identify sales opportunities.
• Manages costs against approved budget, sets budget in collaboration with Internationals Manager.
• Maintains good communication with all International clients and handles issues and queries promptly and courteously.
• Manages back order lists, facilitates operational problems, and manages complaints.
• Delivers excellent customer service by all staff in the region.
• Provides guidance and training to Sales consultants and showrooms.
• Acts as a brand ambassador for all international fabric houses.
• Supports and assists in the absence of the Internationals Manager.

• National Senior Certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in the related field is an advantage.
• Valid drivers License and reliable own vehicle.
• 5 years of Sales experience - wholesale of luxury goods/interior decor environment preferred.
• Exposure to textiles/fabric sales environment is an advantage in Skills and Knowledge.
• Sales, New business development, Customer service, Product Knowledge, negotiating skills, Presentation Skills, Market Research, Campaign Implementation, Branding, Public Relations & Publicity, Report Writing Behaviors.

• Up to R16 500 per month plus commission.
• Travel Allowance: R4 500.
• Petrol Allowance: R4 000.
• Cell & Tablet allowance: R1 950.
• Provident Fund: R 1320.
• Medical Aid (50%): R2 091.
