Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric or relevant NQF qualification.
• Valid drivers license.
• Computer literate: MS Office Suite, JDE procurement system experience will be advantageous.
• Appropriate post Grade 12 Marketing and/or Sales qualification will be an advantage.
• Must have 3-5 years' sales experience within paving / manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of target achievement.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Interpersonal skills and able to self-manage.
• Must be sales orientated, highly motivated and target focused.
• Must be able to travel extensively in Limpopo, surrounds areas and stay overnight if required.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Active procuring of orders for the business unit (new business development).
• Achieve sales target and maintain sales margins.
• Provide effective customer service function which includes but is not limited to sales visits and customer retention.
• Develop and maintain data base for all new and existing customers.
• Stay abreast of market requirements, needs and trends through personal visits to external organisations and customers.
• Liaising with production and dispatch to ensure correct product quantities, product delivery and quality.
• Liaising with Internal sales.
• Inspecting all media publications to keep abreast of developments and trends in the industry.
• Promoting company products and their use.
• Seeking new markets for existing and new products.
• Update existing marketing and project data and present to the Regional Sales Manager when necessary.
