Job Description


Our client in the Marketing & Branding industry is currently looking for an Internal Sales & Marketing Administration Specialist, in Western Cape, Cape Town.Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support for Key Account Management: Handle the administrative tasks related to maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers.
  • Sales Support: Assist the external sales team by preparing quotes, managing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of client requests.
  • Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring a high level of service and prompt follow-up.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client information, order histories, and potential business opportunities.
  • Order Processing and Tracking: Manage the order lifecycle from quote to delivery, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyse sales reports, tracking key metrics such as sales performance, customer engagement, and new business opportunities.
  • Marketing Administration: Coordinate marketing materials, campaigns, and promotional items to ensure alignment with client needs and sales strategies.
  • New Business Development Support: Assist with the administrative aspects of business development, including research, outreach preparation, and tracking of prospective clients.
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client projects and campaigns.
  • Client Retention: Assist in developing and executing strategies for retaining key clients through follow-ups, satisfaction surveys, and client feedback tracking.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an Internal sales, Marketing, or Administration role, preferably within a Marketing or Branding environment.
  • Strong administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of branded clothing, promotional gifting, signage, and safety wear (PPE) products.
  • Experience in key account administration and customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
  • A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is advantageous, but not required with relevant experience.
