REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
• 2 3 years experience in the Warehouse and / or Retail Industry
• Experience on Sage X3 and Excel would be beneficial
• Experience working with electrical equipment and tools would be advantageous
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Excellent interpersonal communication
• Strong email & telephone etiquette
• Strong organisational skills
• Initiative and deadline driven by excellent planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Successfully adapts to changing demands and conditions
• High attention to detail, enthusiastic
• Committed and reliable

DUTIES

• Process orders via email, over the phone as well as assisting with over-the-counter sales for walk in customers
• Ensure that the information on customer orders and invoices is correct
• Liaise with the warehouse department to ensure timely deliveries of orders (accurate scheduling of delivery times).
• Assisting with quarterly stock takes, including but not limited to the preparation leading up to stock takes
• Understand customer needs and requirements and continuously promoting products to new and existing customers
• Contacting customers to ensure the accuracy of information on the invoices
• Following up on sales quotes on a weekly basis
• Maintain accurate records of all follow - ups made with the customer and presenting feedback to Management
• Updating product knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participation in on-the-job training opportunities
• Communicating with customers, by making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on leads, by referring the customer to the respective external sales representatives
