2 3 years experience in the Warehouse and / or Retail Industry
Experience on Sage X3 and Excel would be beneficial
Experience working with electrical equipment and tools would be advantageous
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent interpersonal communication
Strong email & telephone etiquette
Strong organisational skills
Initiative and deadline driven by excellent planning and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure

DUTIES
Process orders via email, over the phone as well as assisting with over-the-counter sales for walk in customers
Ensure that the information on customer orders and invoices is correct
Liaise with the warehouse department to ensure timely deliveries of orders (accurate scheduling of delivery times).
Assisting with quarterly stock takes, including but not limited to the preparation leading up to stock takes
Understand customer needs and requirements and continuously promoting products to new and existing customers
Contacting customers to ensure the accuracy of information on the invoices
Following up on sales quotes on a weekly basis
Maintain accurate records of all follow - ups made with the customer and presenting feedback to Management
Updating product knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participation in on-the-job training opportunities
Communicating with customers, by making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on leads, by referring the customer to the respective external sales representatives
