Job Description
Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to join their team, based in Port Elizabeth.Successful candidate will play a critical role in developing sales strategies for existing customers as well as to attract new clients.Minimum Requirements:-
- Matric
- Advanced levels of computer proficiency including the full suite of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of steel products
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as an internal sales representative at a medium to large manufacturing concern
- Must be able to work in an environment that comply to:-
- Occupational Health and Safety Act
- ISO 9001
- IATF 16949
- ISO 14001
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act
- Comprehensive understanding and ability to compile costings and quotations
- Strong ability to convert quotes into newly awarded business
- Continuous monitoring and management of accurate stock levels and processed sizes to ensure that customer requirements are met timeously
- Receiving and efficiently attending to and resolving of customer complaints/queries
- Strong ability to negotiate and achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within customer base and market segment
- Managing, tracking and expediting customer orders, with the aim to exceed delivery and service expectation
